No! Not Impact! The Cell!

Indeed, as of April 1st, 2007, Impact Studios and the Late Late Music Shop have ascended to business heaven. The reasons have been deemed Too Exciting For Public Consumption, and so let’s say that the dissolution of the parent limited company means we can no longer trade under the same name.

So we changed our name to the Cell, covered everything in silver vinyl, bought a big red sofa and started saying things like ‘under new management’. We have a new sign too.

A new website is on the way, but in the meantime the information regarding the studios and prices remain the same, though please note that checking studio availability online will give you an inaccurate picture - please call us to check what’s available whilst we build the new site or simply join the mailing list below to be kept in the picture!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Impact/The Cell studios, our aim is to provide the best possible rehearsal environment for bands and individual musicians.

Based in Reading, Berkshire, we run 4 air-conditioned rehearsal studios, equipped to a high standard at Cemetery Junction in Reading.

We also offer support services for our studio users such as PA and lighting hire, short run CD duplication and even an on-site music/accessories shop which is open late, 7 days a week.
